Everest View Trek Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Brief on the trip. Welcome dinner at night in a typical Nepalese restaurant.

Day 2: KATHMANDU – LUKLA – PHAKDINA(3-4 hours) – 2,652 m./8,700 feet

Take the early morning flight to Lukla, and start walking to Phakding (3-4 hrs) -2,652m / 8,700ft. We flew in a twin Otter plane to the foothills of the Himalayas, Lukla, where we began our journey to the Khumbu region. The views from the plane are amazing and offer spectacular views of the stepped hills and the distant giants of the Himalayas. After breakfast, the trekking begins to pass through the village of Chaurikharka and descends towards the Dudhkosi Ghat (2,530 m / 8,300 ft). The trekking trail follows the precise bank of the Dudhkosi River to the camp at Phakding (2,652 m / 8,700 ft). This day we only have a short walk and we will rest for the whole day. Day 3: PHAKDING-NAMCHE (5-6 hours) – 3,440m / 11,286ft

Walk from Phkading to Namche- (5-6 hours) -3,440m / 11,286 feet. The trail crosses the Dudhkoshi River through a long suspension bridge, then the trail leads along the river to the hanging bridge of Hilary. The trail climbs further from here to Namche Bazaar, which is the gateway to the mountain. Everest. Overnight in Namche.

Day 4: NAMCHE BAZAR TO KHUMJUNG VILLAGE THROUGH EVEREST VIEW HOTEL- (4-5 Hours) 3,860m /

Today we climb to a large hill and arrive at the Everest View Point hotel after crossing a small airstrip in Syangboche. We can breathe with tea and coffee in this hotel and enjoy the views of Everest, Nuptse and other peaks of the Himalayas. Then we take it to Khumjung, probably one of the best villages in the Khumbu region. Visit the Hillary School established by Sir Admund Hillary and also visit Khunde Village, where you will find a famous climber and large hospital run by a charity.

Day 5: TREK FROM KHUMJUNG TO TYANGBOCHE MONASTRY

After breakfast, we start hiking today. The trekking trail leads to Tengboche. The wonderful view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Aba Dablam stops your breathing. These gigantic mountains seem to be very close to there. If you are lucky, the Mani Rimdu festival in the monastery gives you the eternal experience of dancing monks with masks. The festival is very important in the region. Spend the night in a hostel in Tengboche.

Day 6: TYANGBOCHE A MONJO (6 HOURS) 2790M

After the morning ceremony at the Monastery, we have breakfast and continue walking downhill to the end of the hill and the trail ascends to Kyanjuma. After an easy walk to Namche downhill towards the Hilary bridge and continue walking to Monjo for the night.

Day 7: MONJO at LUKLA – (6-7 HOURS) – 2,652m / 8700ft

Walk from monjo to Lukla – 5-6 hours, slowly this morning, we return to Lukla. You can walk at your own pace and enjoy the lush green landscape that surrounds you and go through the incredible mountain scenery and the local town of Sherpa. After arriving in Lukla, you will have time to walk through the areas and the guide will reconfirm your air ticket and enjoy the last celebration dinner with the members of your crew and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 8: LUKLA TO KATHMANDU IN FLIGHT – 1,350 m / 4,428 ft

Flights from Lukla to Kathmandu are mostly in the morning due to the impact of the weather and the wild breath at the Lukla airport. We took a Trans Himalaya flight back to Kathmandu on a small plane and moved it to the hotel. Free time in the afternoon to cool off, at night, we will make a comment about the trip and celebrate the farewell dinner at the typical Nepalese restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Free day of Kahtmandu.
